Meet Dr. John Y. Shih
Caring for Suwanee Families Since 1995
Dr. John Shih, D.O., FAAFP, is a board-certified family physician who has proudly served Georgia families for nearly three decades. A graduate of the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Dr. Shih has been caring for patients with compassion and expertise since 1995.
He is board-certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Board of Family Medicine, the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, and the Department of Transportation for DOT exams.
Locally, Dr. Shih is on staff at Emory Johns Creek, Northside Gwinnett, and Johns Creek hospitals, where he previously served as chair of family medicine. He also serves as a senior FAA medical examiner, certified to perform Class 1, 2, and 3 exams for pilots and flight professionals.
As a proud member—and former president—of the Gwinnett-Forsyth Medical Society and member of the Medical Association of Georgia, Dr. Shih stays deeply connected to the medical community.
When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Shih enjoys spending time with his family right here in Suwanee—and relaxing in Florida whenever he gets the chance.

Jocelyn Castellano, APRN, AGNP-BC, is an adult nurse practitioner with over 30 years of experience in the medical field. She has family medicine experience working both in private practice and at Northside Hospital in their ICU. Her unique combination of strong, collaborative, clinical experience and boundless positive energy make her a patient favorite.
